I want to take this restaurant home with me. No, really. Angel food French toast with bananas Foster topping? OMG so decadent. This should be a dessert, not a breakfast...but I'm more than happy to call it a breakfast and eat it! Yummm. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the toast was right, the fruit was good. And there we were with two children under four, after a red-eye flight overnight, the older out of sorts and grumpy and recalcitrant. And the staff were more patient with my own kids than I was, and helped us get them settled. Of course, bites of Dad's French toast didn't hurt there either! (For the 3-year-old. Not the baby. He'd have liked it, I bet, but he only got my melon.) Excellent food, pleasant dining room, amazing staff. I actually bookmarked this restaurant in case I go through Fort Wayne again, I want to return that much.

Wow, this place was amazing. We were visiting from out of town and read the yelp reviews and decided to try Spyros and it did not disappoint. There were 8 of us, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I ordered a made to order omelette, which they nailed. Huge portion and cooked perfectly. Family members that ordered the pancakes loved them. And a couple sitting next to us ordered one of their frittatas, which looked amazing and was enormous. My hats off to the cooks at Spyros, they are doing an excellent job, combined with their great service and this is a fantastic restaurant. No wonder shortly after we were seated their was a line out the door with people waiting to eat breakfast at Spyros.

Our family stopped on our way to Grand Rapids, Mi. We enjoyed a great breakfast that consisted of the Olympic omelet, skirt steak and eggs and the southern breakfast. I'm very particular about the way my eggs are cooked and they were on-point. The food was perfect and the service was fantastic. We expect to return when we are in the area.

First time here, passing through on a road trip. Cute place, friendly staff. We were seated immediately & the food was served super quick! I enjoyed the raisin French toast, hubby had an excellent cornmeal sausage waffle & my friend enjoyed the angel food French toast. Definitely worth the stop AND the calories!

I had a hankerin' for a good breakfast and saw the good reviews of this place. So i thought I'd give it a shot. I got there at about 8:00 or 8:30 and i got seated right away. It was pretty full of old folks, who talked very loudly, but I'm okay with that. I ordered the Greek Skillet. It had fried potatoes, topped with onions, peppers, and gyro meat/lamb or beef. Scrambled eggs on top of that. Oh and there was feta! It was fantastic. i never would have ordered something like that here if I hadn't seen the great reviews. So I thought I'd be daring and do it. The Tzaziki sauce was PERFECT! Wayyyy better than the stuff I had at the local pita place the other day. Who woulda known that?! I'm definitely coming back here. It will be sure to make good memories. Oh, and my waitress had "witchy resting face." She looked crabby, and had a perpetual frown, but after I tried warming up to her a bit she did eventually smile. That's okay with me too.

Great variety of breakfast options, and well made. Good portion sizes for the price. We had a short wait, but there is a large indoor waiting room with plenty of seating that is quite comfortable. That's an aspect not many restaurants think of and it was very appreciated. Spyros features fresh squeezed OJ, real veggies in the omlettes, a relaxing atmosphere, and some menu items that are on the more creative side in addition to the traditional stuff you'd expect. Super fast coffee refills and a friendly and helpful waiter rounded out the morning. The only suggestions I can think of - you know I have to think of *something* right? - are to give more salsa (those little containers aren't enough, it's good stuff!), and to expand the fruit plate to be less tropical. Maybe feature Indiana Maple Syrup or fruits/veggies from local farmers. Overall I was very pleased with this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Looking for a local joint to have breakfast while we were in Fort Wayne, we found Spyro's Pancake House. We visited around 8:30ish on a Friday morning. Place was already hopping. We were seated quickly by a friendly, smiling employee. Our server, Cherie, was quick to our table to greet us. The menu had so much yummy goodness on it, we had to ask for a couple more minutes a couple of times. Lol. Finally we decided. Hubs had the country fried steak skillet and I had the hungryman's skillet with the cinnamon roll topper on my pancakes. We couldn't resist the angel food cake French toast either. The coffee was good. The food was amazingly delicious. The cinnamon roll iced pancakes were down right sinful. Neither of us were overly impressed with the angel food French toast, though. The novelty of it is fun, but the reality is simply that pancakes were far better. If I'm ever in Fort Wayne again, this is most definitely where i will be getting breakfast. The food was excellent. The prices were good. Cherie and the rest of the staff were friendly and smiling. Definitely beats the pants off IHOP.

I was out looking for a breakfast place with a friend of mine and we happened upon this gem. As someone with a gluten free diet, I was pleasantly surprised with the option of gluten free bread/toast. ThIs made it possible for me to eat the breakfast sandwich (which is rarely a possibility)!! My friend was also quite content with her selection (a corn muffin waffle). I will definitely be returning!!

Good food, friendly service. Split meals for no extra cost or hassle. Descent pricing. Ate here many times and have never been disappointed.

You have got to try these pancakes! Light and fluffy and taste like birthday cake. Come hungry as portions are generous. They also have a big variety of omlets, frittattas, waffles and lunch items. Make sure to get there early. The dining room is small and it fills up fast. Easy location to get in and out of on busy Bluffton Rd. The whole family can enjoy a great breakfast without breaking the bank.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Our favorite weekend breakfast place. They are always packed, so we try to come early. We normally get the Olympic omelette (which is basically like a gyro), and the hungryman fritatta. The portions are huge and it's priced right. There is only one thing I wish to improve, and that is - instead of offering pancakes, they should also make a slice or two of French toast an option. I always have to order and additional order just to get my French toast, and then I have all this extra food I'm not going to eat. Also, the prices are very cheap - cannot complain, but considering the prices, maybe the a la carte items could be lower because it doesn't make much sense you can get this ginormous plateful of stuff for like $6, but two slices of bacon costs $3. Anyway - love it!

This really is as good as it gets for breakfast in Fort Wayne. This place has the most amazing pancakes! I typically get the Gyro based skillet with cakes and am never let down!

Our go-to breakfast restaurant! Even on busy Sunday's, it doesn't feel like a long wait to be seated or served. The fresh orange juice is delicious...and the pancakes are so good you don't even need syrup!

Found this place due to our hotel not offering a decent breakfast. My boss feels that breakfast is the most important meal of road business trips, so I did my research to make sure boss man was happy. Let's start with service... it's just nice to NOT be in a big city, cuz people actually act like they give a shit. Not only do they act like it, but they mean it. The place was pretty empty, cuz people were still recovering from Sunday night football. On to the food, they made everything so damn good. Down to every specification we wanted. We probably ate a lil too well, but I aitn complaining. I'll be back again when I'm out there.

So many positive reviews on Yelp, yet my experience would have been better with better food. The waitress we had was a bit overworked, the bussers and management were nice. The angel food cake French toast seemed like a fun treat on the menu yet was way too sweet to take more than a couple of bites. The hungry man waffle seemed like it would be good too with meat mixed in to the waffle batter yet missed on flavor and quality. This place will always be successful and busy yet I don't have plans for a return visit. I wish them continued success.

Spyro's is the breakfast you are looking for if you want to go big and exciting. We went specifically to try the Angel Food French toast. You can choose your topping from options like "baklava": drizzled with honey and chopped nuts or "apple pie": apple slices baked with cinnamon and sugar. It was better than I could describe it to you. Also tried biscuits and gravy and homemade hash browns. Again, perfect. Stuffed omelets looked amazing but we couldn't eat more.

One of my favorite restaurants! They have the best omlettes and chicken sandwhichs! I wish they would start serving dinner! The staff is very friendly and is one of the reasons I keep going back.

The perfect weekend breakfast place. The biggest challenge for omelette makers is to serve the eggs hot, cooked uniformly, yet not under or overlooking the eggs or other ingredients--- and not to make the omelettes too salty or greasy. Spyro's has the perfect formula; every omelette arrives impressively stacked, lightly browned and cooked just right. It's a good bet you'll have leftovers, but no worries; the omelettes and pancakes are good when reheated too. It's the best bargain in Fort Wayne. The hash browns are delicious, and wait staff courteous and prompt; tremendous attention to detail. We were here on a crowded Sunday morning, but never waited more than 5 minutes with any requests. Love this place.

Not bad food, great service, but overrated. The pancakes were fluffy but the strawberry topping nearly devoid of strawberries.

Both locations offer the same great food and fast service. For breakfast you can't go wrong with any of the choices. Substitutions are welcome and the variety of the menu offers something for everyone. The cost is very reasonable and the servers and staff are friendly and fast.
